Bathroom Refurbishment in Magherafelt

A Practical Bathroom Refresh in Magherafelt

We were working on a bathroom in Magherafelt where the aim was to give the room a cleaner, more consistent finish without wasting the space available. With the bath, shower, toilet and basin all sharing a relatively compact room, getting the layout and finishing details right was important.

Working Around the Existing Bathroom Layout

The bath runs beneath the frosted window, with a radiator close by and the shower enclosure occupying its own corner. Rather than trying to crowd more into the room, we concentrated on making the existing arrangement look tidy and usable. The stone-effect wall panels bring the different areas together and are a practical choice for a busy bathroom.

Our attention was on the details that make a real difference: how the fittings sit against the wall surfaces, the junctions around the bath and enclosure, and keeping the visible pipework as neat as possible. It's these smaller areas that can make a bathroom feel properly finished instead of pieced together.

The Shower and Final Finish

The framed shower door and light-coloured tray sit alongside the bath, giving the household two options for everyday use. The contrasting floor works well with the lighter wall panels, while the window keeps natural light in the room.

For us, bathroom work isn't just about choosing good-looking fittings. It's about making everything fit the space and paying attention to the practical details behind the finish.
