6-Stage Reverse Osmosis Filtration Installed in Donaghmore

Another installation recently completed in Donaghmore, bringing high-quality filtered drinking water and instant boiling water convenience straight to the kitchen tap.

This project involved fitting a 6-stage reverse osmosis water filtration system with re-mineralisation, alongside a filtered and boiling water tap, an under-sink boiler and an 8-litre storage vessel.

The result is a convenient, modern kitchen setup that makes accessing freshly filtered drinking water easier than ever.

Cleaner, Fresher-Tasting Drinking Water

The main feature of this installation is the 6-stage reverse osmosis filtration system.

Reverse osmosis is an advanced water treatment process designed to reduce a wide range of dissolved impurities and contaminants from the water supply.

Unlike a basic water filter, a reverse osmosis system uses a specialised membrane alongside additional filtration stages to provide a more thorough level of water treatment.

This particular system also includes a re-mineralisation stage, which adds selected minerals back into the filtered water. This helps improve the taste and provides a more balanced drinking water experience.

Alongside the filtration system, we installed a dedicated filtered and boiling water tap, making everyday kitchen tasks quicker and more convenient.

From preparing a morning cup of tea or coffee to having hot water readily available for cooking, the system offers a practical alternative to repeatedly boiling a traditional kettle.

An under-sink boiler was fitted to supply the boiling water function, keeping the equipment neatly tucked away beneath the kitchen worktop.
